Questo titolo di racconti horror di Stephen King ha dato "vita" diversi anni fa' al fortunato filone cinamtografico/televisivo dei morti viventi. E così sono stati prodotti decine di film e di serial tv di grande successo spaventosi, inquietanti o solo deliziosamente splatter!

Poi arriva "Les Revenants" una serie francese basata sul film "Quelli che ritornano" di Robin Campillo che cambia le regole del gioco. E se coloro che ritornano non fossero aggressivi zombie mangiacarne, ma normalissime persone che non sanno di essere morte?

And here comes "The Returned" a French series based on Robin Campillo's film "They Came Back" that changes all the rules. What if the returned weren't the aggressive human meat eating zombies we are used to, but normal people that have no idea to be dead?

Ambientata in un paesino sulle sponde di un lago sperduto tra i monti francesi la prima stagione della serie ha avuto un successo straordinario in tutto il mondo ed e' stata mostrata anche in Italia lo scorso autunno ora e' arrivato il momento della seconda in onda su Sky Atlantic a partire da martedì 29 settembre. Non vedo l'ora che ritorni!

Quale occasione migliore di resuscitare un'antica ricetta di famiglia adattissima alle atmosfere lacustri de Les Revenants: FILETTI DI LAVARELLO IMPANATI E FRITTI CON SALSA VERDE. Per la salsa potete usare la specialissima ricetta della nonna che vi avevo proposto per il Panino al Cotechino.

I can't think on a better occasion to resuscitate an antique family recipe perfect for the lacustrine atmospheres of The Returned: PANFRIED WHITEFISH FILETS WITH GREEN SALSA. For the salsa you can use my granny's special recipe!

Ingredienti: filetti di lavarello (o altro pesce di lago a vostro piacimento), latte, farina di grano tenero, farina di mais, uovo, sale.

Ingredients: whitefish filets, milk, all purpose flour, corn flour, egg, salt.

Preparate un pastella non troppo liquida con le farina, latte, uovo e sale e immergete i filetti dopo averli asciugati bene con la carta assorbente. Friggete in olio di semi fino a doratura e servite caldi coperti di salsa verde. Tres facile!

Prepare a batter with the flours, milk, egg and salt and immerse the filets after drying them with kitchen paper. Fry in seed oil till golden and serve hot covered in green salsa. Tres facile!
