Two movies, two cult scenes we all remember, two ways to use food as foreplay: I’m talking about “Nine ½ weeks” and “When Harry Met Sally”.

Sitting on the floor in front of a fridge, and keeping her eyes closed, Elisabeth (Kim Basinger) lets her mysterious lover John (Micky Rourke) feed her pasta, strawberries and champagne, hot peppers, honey…

Sitting on a bench of a very crowded restaurant Sally (Meg Ryan) shows Harry (Billy Crystal) how to fake the most gorgeous orgasm while putting together her sandwich. And of course the lady sitting next to her would like to “have the same thing”...

Sitting in front of my boyfriend here I am eating the very hot recipe I just prepared for him: Orecchiette with red chili peppers and buffalo mozzarella.

Ingredienti: 200gr di orecchiette, 10/15 pomodorini, 20 olive nere, 100gr di mozzarella di bufala, olio evo, 2 piccoli spicchi di aglio, polvere di peperoncino o peperoncini essiccati, origano.

Ingredients: 200 gr of Orecchiette, 10/15 cherry tomatoes, 20 black olives, 100 gr of buffalo mozzarella, olive oil, 2 small garlic cloves, red pepper powder or dried red peppers, origano.

I had my boyfriend help me through the beginning of the preparation because two very hot procedures had to be carried on: shredding the mozzarella with your hand and washing, cutting in half and emptying the cherry tomatoes of the seeds. Believe me, both are an interesting way to get a little dirty before the main course is served :)

Put the shredded mozzarella on the side to drain. In a pan warm up the olive oil with as much red pepper as you can bear, the garlic cloves (use them just to give flavor to the oil and take them away, you don’t want the breath to stink). When the oil is hot add the tomatoes and let them fry for a few minutes then add also the olives.

Come antipasto ho preparato Pane Gattiau con crema tartufata, pomodori secchi sott'olio, carciofini rustici e olive.

As appetizer I served him Pane Gattiau topped with a truffle cream, dried tomatoes, artichokes and olives.

A the same time prepare the orecchiette letting them cook 2/3 minutes less than what written on the package. Strain the orecchiette and put them in the pan with the mozzarella on top. Cover the pan and wait a few minutes.
Serve after sprinkling some oregano on top: caution is very hot!
