Dopo il consenso unanime di pubblico e critica negli USA, il 6 aprile arriva su FoxCrime il serial prodotto da Ryan Murphy che avrà la stessa struttura antologica dell’altra sua fortunata creatura, American Horror Story.

After the big success in the US finally also the Italian audience will be able to watch on FoxCrime the drama produced by Ryan Murphy and structured with the anthology format like one of his most fortunate works, American Horror Story. 

Infatti, ogni stagione racconterà un caso di cronaca nera scelto fra i più eclatanti della storia americana. La prima, composta da 10 episodi, mostrera' tutte le fase del processo per omicidio del campione sportivo O.J. Simpson.

Each season will tell a true crime case chosen among the most striking ones in American history and the first one, composed of 10 episodes, shows all phases of the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Ci sono pochi momenti storici che hanno davvero unificato la società americana. Nessun americano potrà mai dimenticare dove fosse quando O.J.Simpson si diede alla fuga alla guida di una Ford Bronco bianca. Una nazione intera assistette in diretta tv (95 milioni di spettatori) per 24 ore a quella maldestra caccia all’uomo che sarebbe stata solo l’inizio del caso O.J. Simpson e avrebbe segnato l’inizio della reality television. 

Very few historical moments unified the whole American society and for sure no American person can forget where he/she was when O.J. Simpson fled the police driving his white Ford Bronco watched by 95 million TV viewers. That was the beginning of O.J. case and of reality television.

Orenthal James (O.J.) Simpson era un 47enne ex campione di football che aveva realizzato l’American dream, diventando incredibilmente popolare come modello di successo per tutti gli afroamericani. La vita privata di O.J. si rivelò, col passare del tempo, popolata da luoghi oscuri, il cui epilogo tragico è l’accusa del truculento omicidio dell’ex moglie Nicole Brown e di un amico (o amante) di lei. 

Orenthal James (O.J.) Simpson was a 47-year-old former football champion that realized the American Dream becoming an incredibly popular success model for all African Americans. His private life, though, was full of dark places whose consequence is the accusation of the truculent murder of his ex wife Nicole Brown and a friend (or lover) of hers.

Il cast è spettacolare: il premio Oscar Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire) interpreta O.J. Simpson, mentre John Travolta torna in tv dopo 40 anni per vestire i panni del suo avvocato Robert Shapiro, (nonche' come produttore della serie). Lo show segna il ritorno in grande stile di un altro attore molto amato, David Schwimmer, il Ross della mitica sitcom Friends, che interpreta un altro membro della squadra di difesa, Robert Kardashian, noto alle cronache anche per essere il padre delle sorelle Kim, Khloè e Kourtney Kardashian. 

The cast is spectacular: Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire) plays O.J. while John Travolta, back in TV after 40 years, incarnates his lawyer Robert Shapiro (and serves as producer of the series). The show sees also the comeback to the scenes of David Schwimmer, very much loved as Ross in the sitcom Friends, that plays Simpson's best friend, Robert Kardashian known for being the late father of the Kardashian sisters.

Nel processo dell’ex campione i nodi più intricati della società americana arrivano al pettine: il bianco non e' ancora uguale nero; un uomo ricco con un dream team di difensori ha molte più tutele di un cittadino qualsiasi..e tutto puo' risolversi grazie ad un paio di guanti. Per aggiungere un po' di dolcezza a questa appassionante quanto tragica storia vi propongo la TORTA BLACK FOREST (versione di Ernst Knam) con MOUSSE AL CIOCCOLATO FONDENTE, PANNA MONTATA BIANCA E UN TOCCO DI ROSSO....AMARENA.

In Simpson's trials a lot of American society's problem were highlighted: white is still not like black, a rich man with a dream team of lawyers has better guarantees than any other citizen...and everything can revolve around a pair of gloves. To add a little sweetness to this both captivating and tragic story, I propose the BLACK FOREST CAKE with DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE, WHIPPED CREAM AND A TOUCH OF RED...CHERRIES.

Ingredienti per il pan di spagna: 6 uova intere, 150gr di zucchero, 85gr di farina, 45gr di fecola, 45gr di cacao. Per la mousse: 200gr di cioccolato fondente, albumi di 4 uova, 55gr di burro, 75gr di zucchero. Per la farcitura: 250ml di panna, 25gr di zucchero a velo, amarene Fabbri, riccioli di cioccolato, sciroppo di amarene.

Ingredients for the base: 6 eggs, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, 1/3 cup of starch, 1/3 cup of cacao powder. For the mousse: 7oz of dark chocolate, yolk of 4 eggs, 2 oz of butter, 1/4 cup of sugar. For the decoration: 1 cup of cream, 1 oz of icing sugar, cherries, chocolate curls, cherry syrup.

Preparate i Pan di Spagna montando le uova con lo zucchero e amalgamandole con farina, fecola e cacao setacciati. Versate il composto in una tortiera di 20 cm e cuocete in forno a 180 gradi per 25 minuti.

Prepare the base by whisking the eggs with the sugar and mixing them well with flour, starch and cacao powder sifted together. Pour in a 8 inches baking tin and bake at 400F for 25 minutes.

Nel frattempo sciogliete a bagno maria il cioccolato fondente con il burro e montate a neve gli albumi con lo zucchero. Lasciate raffreddare un po' il cioccolato fuso e mescolatelo con gli albumi, poi mettete in frigo la mousse perche' si rassodi.

In the meantime melt bain marie the chocolate with butter and whip the yolks with sugar. Mix well and put the mousse in the fridge.

Quando il pan di spagna e' pronto lasciate che arrivi a temperatura ambiente e tagliatelo in tre starti. Farcite con la mousse al cioccolato rassodata e aggiungete delle amarene. Lasciate che la torta di assesti (se e' poco stabile mettetela in frigo) e poi montate la panna con lo zuccheto a velo e usatela per ricoprire interamente la torta.

When the base is ready let cool and cut in three layers. Cover the two middle layers with the chocolate mousse and cherries, then whip the cream with icing sugar and cover the whole cake.

Decorate con amarene, riccioli di cioccolato, sciroppo di amarene...

Decorate with more cherries, chocolate curls, cherry syrup...
