Su Calde Delizie non posso fare a meno di parlare di argomenti decisamente "scottanti".... come l'arrivo in chiaro di CHICAGO FIRE su Italia 1 a partire da lunedì 15!

La trama della seconda stagione che stiamo per vedere riprende dalla morte del vigile del fuoco Andrew Darden, per la quale si sentono colpevoli i due tenenti della Caserma 51: il ligio al dovere Matthew Casey e l'impetuoso e carismatico Kelly Severide. Proprio su quest'ultimo, infatti, pesa l'accusa della moglie del pompiere deceduto.
The plot starts from the death of the fire fighter Andrew Darden that became a burden for the two lieutenants of Fire House 51: the serious and committed Matthew Casey and the impulsive Kelly Severide held responsible by the dead fire fighter's wife.
La serie e' molto amata sia dal pubblico maschile per le situazioni action nelle quali si trovano i nostri prestanti protagonisti, che dal gentil sesso per le diverse e intricate storie sentimentali che "prendono fuoco" tra un incendio e l'altro! Naturalmente gli attori scelti definiti da un noto critico televisivo americano "pompieri usciti da una pubblicità di Calvin Klein" fanno la loro parte alla perfezione :)
The series is very much loved both by the male audience because of the numerous action scenes and by the ladies thanks to the intricate love stories that inflame our handsome protagonists in between fires! Of course the actors chosen for the main roles are perfectly in part :)
Casey e' interpretato da Jesse Spencer gia' noto al grande pubblico per aver ricoperto il ruolo del Dottor Chase per otto stagioni nella serie Dottor House, il suo collega/antagonista Severide ha il volto (e il fisico scolpito) di Taylor Kinney conosciuto non tanto per il suo curriculum da modello e attore quanto per la storia d'amore con la super diva Lady Gaga alla quale ha regalato un gigantesco anello di fidanzamento lo scorso febbraio.
Casey is played by Jesse Spencer already known for his eight-year long role of Doctor Chase in the series House MD, while his colleague/antagonist Severide has the face (and sculptured body) of Taylor Kinney very much followed on all social networks as Lady Gaga boyfriend that popped the question with a spectacular ring last February.
Con questo caldo la ricetta di oggi non poteva che essere un antipasto estivo FLAMBE' con un pizzico di piccante: GAMBERI E PESCA FLAMBE' CON PEPE CREOLO.
It's getting hot in here and today's recipe couldn't help being a summer appetizer with a pinch of spice: PRAWNS AND PEACHE FLAMBE' WITH CREAOL PEPPER MIX.
Per la flambatura imparate dai miei errori! Visto che quando ho preparato i Chorizo Flambe' per un post precedente ho rischiato di mandare a fuoco la cucina questa volta ho seguito delle ferree regole: mai spruzzare l'alcol fuori dalla padella se fate il flambe' su una tovaglietta di plastica (!!!) e mai incendiare la pentola sotto alla cappa che puo' essere sporca di schizzi di grasso e prendere fuoco. Lo so che i pompieri sono molto apprezzati in tutto il mondo, ma sarebbe meglio conoscerli fuori servizio :)
Pay very much attention when you set the pan in flames and learn from my mistakes! When I prepared Chorizo Flame' for a previous post I risked to set the whole kitchen on fire, now I follow strongly recommended rules: don't spread the alcohol outside of the pan if close to it there is a plastic table set (!!!), never make the flambe' underneath the kitchen hood that could be dirty and take fire. I know that firefighters are super hot, but it is better to meet them out of service!!
Ingredienti: 15 code di gamberi, 1 pesca gialla, olio, succo di limone, sale, mix di pepe creolo, whiskey.
Ingredients: 15 precooked prawns, 1 yellow peach, oil, lemon juice, salt creole pepper Mix, whiskey.
Per rendere questa preparazione ancora più semplice ho scelto di usare delle code di gambero precotte. Lasciatele marinare per 10 minuti con la pesca spelata e tagliata a tocchetto in 4 cucchiai di olio, il succo di mezzo limone, sale e pepe (quanto vi piace).
To make this preparation even simpler I chose to use the precooked prawns. Let them marinate for 10 minutes with the peach peeled off and cut into pieces in four spoons of oil, the juice of 1/2 lemon, salt and pepper.
Trasferite i gamberi e la pesca in padella, spruzzateli con whiskey e date fuoco con un fiammifero lungo (con l'accendino rischiate di bruciarvi i peli delle braccia :). Una volta che si spegne il fuoco fate cuocere per due minuti e servite con una spolverata di pepe.
Transfer the prawns and the peach in a pan pour two spoons of whiskey and set fire with a long match (if you do it with the lighter you could risk to burn all the hairs on your arm ;). Once the fire extinguishes itself, cook for another couple of minutes and serve with creole pepper mix.
