SPIEDINI ULTRAVELOCI PER "ARROW" E "FLASH"

I supereroi sono tutto intorno a noi....cinematograficamente e televisivamente parlando, anche se ognuno di noi ogni tanto si sente un po' supereroe quando si trova ad affrontare i problemi di tutti i giorni.

Superheroes are all around us... in movies and tv series plots...even if we all feel like a superhero when we have to deal with everyday problems.

Italia1 si e' intelligentemente accorta di questa tendenza e riunisce nel suo palinsesto un agguerrito gruppo serie televisive che ci raccontano le loro storie. Dopo l'arrivo di Gotham lo scorso dicembre e in attesa di Supergirl che arriverà le prossima primavera, da gennaio possiamo continuare a seguire le  portentose azioni di Arrow e di The Flash rispettivamente giunti alla quarta e alla seconda stagione.

In Italy we have the possibility to see a portentous bunch of TV series based on them on Italia1 channel. After the broadcasting of Gotham in December and waiting for Supergirl next spring, this January we had the possibility to start following again two of the most loved superheroes stories: Arrow IV and The Flash II.

Dietro la maschera di Arrow si nasconde il fascinoso playboy miliardario Oliver Queen sopravvissuto a cinque anni di angherie subite in un naufragio su una terribile isola maledetta con il fisico e lo spirito temprato. Nella quarta serie Oliver si trasferisce in una nuova città dove agirà finalmente alla luce del sole per far trionfare il bene.

Behind Arrow's mask hides the fascinating and multimillionaire playboy Oliver Queen that, after a shipwreck, survived for five years on a terrible island with both spirit and body tempered. In the fourth season Oliver moves to a new city where he will finally disclose himself.

Visto il grande successo di questa prima serie i produttori hanno prontamente deciso di "aprire la porta" ad uno spin off dopo aver introdotto il personaggio di The Flash in un paio di episodi di Arrow gli hanno fatto vivere vita propria.

Since Arrow had such an amazing success the producers decided to "open the door" to a spin off and after introducing The Flash character in a couple of episodes they gave him a life on his own.

Il personaggio scelto tra i vari Flash disegnati dalla DC Comics e' Barry Allen, un tecnico della scientifica con un infanzia infelice dovuta al drammatico e irrisolto omicidio della madre e dotato del potere di una velocità ultrasonica acquisito a seguito alla caduta di un fulmine in prossimità di un acceleratore di particelle.

DC Comics creatives portrayed a various number of characters for The Flash and the one chosen for the TV series if Barry Allen, a young forensic tech with an unhappy childhood following the terrible and unsolved killing of his mother. His phenomenal speed power is due to an incident with a particles accelerator.

E non abbiamo finito qui! Da pochissimo tempo e' stata presentata sul canale CW negli Stati Uniti un'altra serie tratta dai fumetti della DC Comics: Legends of Tomorrow, che fra non molto sbarcherà anche in Italia!

We are not done yet...recently the US TV network CW aired another series based on DC Comics strips: Legends of Tomorrow! We won't have to wait much here in Italy to see it on our small screens.

SUPERCHEESE: Cubetti di pecorino romano e cubetti di brie intervallati da quadratini di pan carre' con marmellata ai frutti rossi. 

Pecorino and brie cheese cubed and white bread squares with red berries marmalade.

SPICY FUN: Fettine di tacchino, peperoni sottolio e quadratini di pan carre' con wasabi.

Turkey slices, oil ball peppers, white bread squares with wasabi paste.

FRUITY WRAPS: Fettine di arancia e mela avvolti in prosciutto e speck.

Orange and apple slices wrapped in prosciutto ham and speck.

PENNE ALLA VODKA, RADICCHIO E SPECK PER LE VOSTRE "BOOGIE NIGHTS"

Il film BOOGIE NIGHTS ha tantissimi pregi e veramente pochi difetti. Prima di tutto ha fatto decollare la carriera di Mark Wahlberg, poi ha portato all'attenzione degli appassionati di cinema il talento del giovane regista PT Anderson e inoltre ci ha regalato le performance stellari di un cast corale di attori allora semi conosciuti e oggi parte integrante del Gotha hollywoodiano.

"Boogie Nights" has a lot of merits and very few flaws. First of all boosted Mark Wahlberg's career, then brought to the attention of movie buffs the talented young director PT Anderson and, not to forget, the stellar performances of a cast of semi known actors that today are very well recognized as part of Hollywood best.

E adesso che abbiamo elencato tutte le motivazioni serie per rivedere questo film, possiamo passare alla parte ludico/sessuale :) Boogie Nights ha anche la capacita' di far rivivere il periodo d'oro dell'industria del porno americano cominciato con Gola Profonda che ha creato divi immortali ed per qualche anno ha messo i film a luci rosse sullo stesso piano di tutte le altre opere cinematografiche.

Now that we are done making the list of all the serious reason to watch this movie again, let's pass on to the fun/sexual part :) Boogie Nights has the capacity of bringing back to life the golden period of the American porn industry started with Deep Throat that created immortal stars and for a few years put hard core films on the same level of the all other cinematographic works.

Il regista di film hard Jack Horner (un pluri premiato Burt Reynolds) scopre in un bar un giovane attore di "grande" talento che già dal primo film si fa notare per i suoi "33 di dimensioni artistiche" se vogliamo dirla alla Elio. E naturalmente il richiamo al porno divo degli anni '70 John Holmes e' d'obbligo.

The director of porn films Jack Horner (played by a fantastic Burt Reynolds) discovers in a bar a very "talented" young actor that from the first movie is recognized to be the next "big" thing in the industry. And of course the mind runs to the '70s porn star John Holmes.

Intorno a loro danza sinuoso un girotondo di personaggi fra cui spiccano le due porno dive Amber (Julianne Moore) e Rollergirl (Heather Graham), il fonico gay (il fu Philip Seymour Hoffman) e l'aiuto regista con la moglie ninfomane (William H. Macy).

Around them dances a colorful group of characters like the two porn divas Amber (Julianne Moore) and Rollergirl (Heather Graham), the gay sound guy (the last Philip Seymour Hoffman) and the assistant director with a nymphomaniac wife (William H. Macy).

Giusto una precisazione nel caso che ci sia ancora qualcuno che si chieda la verità sull'ultima scena del film: e' una protesi! 

And if somebody is still wondering the truth about the last scene of the film: it is a prothesis!

In onore a questo film vi propongo una ricetta di gran moda negli anni '70'/'80 nei prive' delle discoteche, e non solo, che io ho rivisitato e, vi confesso, utilizzato per far colpo in…un paio di….appuntamenti romantici come potete vedere nel video: PENNE ALLA VODKA CON RADICCHIO E SPECK.

Inspired to this movie here it is a recipe that was really trendy in the '70/'80s in Italy and all around the world that I have changed a little to startle…few…of my dates as you can see in the following video: PENNE WITH VODKA WITH RADICCHIO AND BACON (OR SPECK).

SEX UP YOUR FOOD

NO FRAMES PRODUCTION

Ingredienti per 2 persone: 160gr di penne, 30gr di speck a cubetti, radicchio, 250ml di panna fresca, 1/2 bicchiere di vodka, olio, sale.

Ingredients for 2 persons: 160gr of penne, 30gr of  bacon (or, if you can find it, speck), radicchio, 250ml of half and half (creme fraiche), 1/2 glass of vodka, oil, salt.

Mettete a bollire l'acqua e nel frattempo tagliate a cubetti lo speck e a striscioline due foglie radicchio che darà un piacevole tocco amarognolo alla pasta. Il sugo e' talmente semplice e veloce che si prepara nel tempo di cottura della pasta. 

Bring the water to boil and in the meantime cut into small cubes the bacon (or speck) and in slice two leaves of radicchio. The sauce is so easy and fast that you can prepare it while the pasta is cooking. 

Quindi, una volta buttata la pasta, in una padella scaldate in filo d'olio e aggiungete lo speck che deve cuocere per 2/3 minuti, poi mettete anche il radicchio. 

Remember to put big grains salt in the water before adding the penne. In a pan heat two spoons of oil and add the bacon that has to cook till the fat melts (2/3 minutes). Then add the  radicchio.

Quando il radicchio e' appassito versate la panna, fatela sobbollire e poi aggiungete la vodka e alzate la fiamma affinché evapori.

Wait another 3 minutes for the radicchio to cook and add the half and half, bring it to boil and pour the 1/2 glass of vodka. On an higher flame have the vodka evaporate.

Scolate la pasta 2 minuti prima della fine del tempo di cottura e finite di cuocere nella padella con il sugo. Servite subito: il risultato e' assicurato!

Strain the pasta 2 minutes before the cooking time written on the box and put in the pan with the sauce for the remaining time. Serve right away: the result is always very satisfying!
